US Retail Sales Fall 0.4 %

For the second straight month US retail sales fell by 0.4 percent for the month of April following a 1.3 percent drop in March. More

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said today that the unemployment rate in the UK rose from 6.7 percent to 7.1 percent for the month of April bringing the total number of unemployed to 2.2 million. More

Falling in line with several other central banks, the Bank of England released its a prediction that the pace of decline in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) could slow later this year but actual recovery could actually take longer than previously believed. More
