UK Mortgage Lending Still on the Rise
Despite growing unemployment and a recent pronouncement by the Bank of England that the recession in the UK was deeper than originally believed, mortgage lending is still on the rise. New US Jobless Claims Jump
New claims for unemployment benefits in the US jumped to an unexpected 576,000 last week. Analysts had been expecting about 550,000 new claims, but the actual number still shows a downward trend over previous results. More
