Housing Starts in Canada on the Rise

The number of housing starts in Canada narrowly missed expectations of 158,000 with a seasonally-adjusted 157,300 units according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Despite missing the predicted number of starts, Canada’s housing sector continues to show positive gains after several months of declines.
