Canadian Manufacturing Sales Gain 1.4%

Statistics Canada reported today that manufacturing sales in Canada rose 1.4 percent to $41.7 billion ($39.6 billion USD) but most of the gains were from the auto industry. Excluding motor vehicles, parts and accessories, manufacturing sales edged down 0.4 per cent during the month.
