The Federal Reserve Beige Book showed that eight of the twelve regions surveyed for the report, experienced varying degrees of improvement since the last report in October. These regions included Boston, New York, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas and San Francisco, while Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond and Atlanta lost ground.
