RBC’s Consumer Outlook Index Shows Cautious Optimism for 2010

The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) released its Consumer Outlook Index which rose eight percentage points in December suggesting that Canadian consumers were more gaining confidence in the state of their personal finances. The report indicates that 60 percent of Canadians expect the economy to improve in 2010 while only 17 percent expect it to worsen.
